A lot of parents ask this and my response is always the same. Let them be who they are at this age. After all that is what you want to capture isn’t it?  In 10-20 years you can look back at this time and I’m sure it will bring a smile to your face. Even when it seems to you as a parent that they are not cooperating we can still sometimes get some good photos. And remember the session doesn’t have to be perfect the whole session to get good shots of the family. 

I will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast 1-2 days prior to your session.  Generally the evening before the day of your session I will decide if it needs to be rescheduled, sometimes we can wait until the morning of the session but rescheduling is always at my discretion. I want you to have beautiful photos, and unforunatley sometimes wind and rain happen and we shouldn’t try to push through as it can show in your photos and neither of us want that. If you are unable to do a new date, your deposit will be a credit to use with me in the future. Deposits are not returned due to weather.

You can expect for everyone to have a good time!  When children feel the pressure to sit still and smile on cue, they will often end up doing the opposite. Giving them the freedom to be themselves allows me the opportunity to document your family and their natural expressions and personalities.

One to three weeks after your session, you will be presented with your fully-edited proofs in a private online gallery where you will be able to download your images and order prints. Your gallery will be live for one week during which orders can be placed.
